With one exception all the songs in this mix were suggested to me at different times by DJ Amphiguous (pictured above), a friend who lives in Vancouver. He did a club night named Uncanny, and I had the privilege recently of DJing alongside him in San Francisco.

Bar Star has become one of my favorite tracks of the past few months, as has Roman Pushkin’s remix of Fat Bottomed Girls.

Zerox Machine is a cover of Adam And The Ants’ third single.

The one track that wasn’t suggested by him is PPP by Trippple Nippples, which came from Mark in Portland. That was a sweet MySpace discovery and fits right in with the rest of the set. Japanese dance music always makes me happy, especially when sung in Engrish.
