Faster Kill Pussycat (Club Mix) by Paul Oakenfold featuring Brittany Murphy
Breakaway (Chris Fraser Main Mix) by Inaya Day

I Could Fall In Love With You (Monteverde Vocal Extended Remix) by Erasure

PART TWO (38.8 MB, 192kbps, 28:07)

Read My Mind (Linus Loves Remix) by The Killers
Acceptable In The ’80s (Mad Adam’s Kickboosted Remix Edit) by Calvin Harris
U + Ur Hand (BeatCult Remix) by Pink
I’m Gonna Make You Fall In Love With Me (Remix) by Heaven 17
Glamorous (The Scene Kings Electro Remix) by Fergie

This mix was commissioned by my friend DJ Dann Edmond while he was working for Energy 92.7, San Francisco’s late, great dance music station, which was on the air from October 2004 to September 2009. It was split into two parts to allow for a commercial break in the middle, and the tracks alternate between songs from their heavy rotation playlist during May 2007 and my own choices.

This is just a bit more commercial that what I was spinning at the time, but I’m very happy with the way it turned out. I’m not sure of the exact date it aired.

“Believe me, doll – we’re all through. There’s no money in the underground.”

Readers Wifes are Chelsea Kelsey and Kim Phaggs, the DJs from infamous London club Duckie. I went to Duckie during a trip to London and had one of my best nights out, ever. The narration on Nostalgia is done by Justin Bond, a.k.a. Kiki of New York drag cabaret act Kiki & Herb.

I got Bossy from Mark in Portland.

The lead vocal on Strange Sounds is an incognito Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, singing with a pinched nose.
