After being called “ma’am” one too many times at drive-thrus or on the phone, I unleash the metal. I love electronic/dance music but I started playing drums at the age of 5 because I was into Kiss and Queen. I have a Kiss tattoo. I spent the ’80s divided between Depeche Mode and Def Leppard. Even while I was hosting The Beat Bash on WRFL I was playing drums in a sludge-rock Melvins ripoff band called Chump.

See? Metal. \m/
